I still don't know how to store the over 7,000 photos stored on my iPhone 5. I have a Windows 7 PC and can't figure-out how to transfer photos into the PC. I've tried clicking file and setting-up a new folder, My Pictures, but no photos appear. What did I forget?

Connect your iPhone via data cable to Pc.
Open My Computer
You'll see your iPhone's name below your hard drive partitions.
Open it
You'll see a folder named Internal Storage. Showing the total & free space available.
Open folders, go to pics.
Select what you wanna copy

*Do not Close this Window Neither Go back to any other location*

Paste wherever you want.

Note : You might be closing the iPhone's window after selecting pics ?

Thanks for the feedback. I merely want all 7,000 photos stored on my iPhone 5 to transfer to my PC. I don't want to have to paste each photo individually. I was told that by Synching the phone, my PC already has all 7,000 photos stored but where are they? In case my phone is lost, broken or accidentally gets erased, I need to save the photos. I have first photos ever taken of my baby in the maternity ward. I can't chance losing them. Thanks again.

Ya so press CTRL + A.
Copy and paste in any location in your Pc.

Just don't close or go backward to any location in the window in which you have your iPhone pics selected.

Are you able to do it ?

2. If your iPhone's photo sync is On.
It must be saving in the :
C :/ User / Username / My Music / iTunes / Media /

Look in the folders.
