Along with the new iOS 5’s arrival a batch of new features has taken over the time and focus of iPhone and iPad users. AirPlay Mirroring is one of the coolest features the new OS provides, allowing users to mirror anything that’s happening on their iPad 2 or iPhone 4S on their HDTV or AirPlay speakers. All you need to have fun is own Apple TV, update your iPad2 device or own iPhone 4S, as these are the only devices AirPlay actually works on, even though the updated older phones will show an AirPlay icon, and make the settings.

You must put your TV on the proper settings to use Apple TV, click the home button on your device, swipe the tray menu until you see the AirPlay icon, tap it and then choose the HDTV or speakers you want to stream to from the mirror. So few steps later and your device screen will now be on your TV. You could have fun with various application such as “Little Things”, which is a popular seek and find game. The tiny items you have to find become instantly easier to spot and you can even play it with your family.

FaceTime is also an inspired app to try on AirPlay, instantly providing a bigger screen where you can see your loved ones. You could also do the responsible thing and use the new feature for business, while showing your Keynote presentations on the screen in your office, but we’d rather have fun by playing Angry Birds, for example.
