Hi i have Apple TV and the remote app for it I can operate the Apple TV from my phone but I can't get my phone screen to show on my tv. On the web it tells me to go to iTunes and turn home sharing from there but I don't see it!

The feature you’re looking for is called “Screen Mirroring”. Apple named it AirPlay, and it can be found on your iPhone, not in iTunes. It’s in the Control Centre.

Ok I got it a little different from what you said. There was no airplay in the control center. So I swiped up from the bottom and there was mirroring. Thanks

The airplay option is in the Apple TV Settings. It allows you to set who can connect to the Apple TV over Airplay
