Hiding Text Message from popping up

Hi, might sound a silly post but is there any way to stop a text message appearing when the phone is locked.
Just that when the odd naughty joke is received, I wouldn't like anyone just picking up my phone to read even the opening few lines lol.
Is there anyway I can stop it popping up when my phone is locked.

Look for the Messaging app.
