Hide messages

I don't want others to see my message received when I a notification of a new message comes up on the screen. Is there any way I can hide the message.

Hi, Go to SETTINGS - NOTIFICATIONS - MESSAGES - SHOW PREVIEW - Toggle it to OFF.

You can also turn off the option that shows the preview of the message, but allows the notification of the sender to show. If you go to the notification section for messages, scroll down and you can turn off "Show Previews".
