Hi guys i need advice before i go to the apple shop?

right i dropped my iphone 4 and cracked the front glass pretty bad

i went to the iphone store and they went bring it in on monday and well give you a quote, i went a quote for waht they went for it to be replaced, then i went its still under warranty and thye gooh well bring it in and well see what we can do?

do you think they will give me a new one or like im totally confused?

Is the warranty void if jailbroken though?

if its jailbroken, just do a restore through itunes, they will ever know

I did the same thing, dropped my iphone 4 and cracked the inner LCD.
Brought it to Apple store, paid $199 USD and got a new one.
I did JB and unlocked the phone but since the LCD was damaged they could not see it.
By the way, they did check to make sure I did not open the phone.

Under warranty is still valid. All these stories of cracked screen are making me nervous. I've had a few drops myself but I guess I got lucky so far.

because you dropped and broke it, not equipment failure so you will have to pay to fix it or pay to get a new one.

all else fails.. toss the phone in the microwave for 10 seconds and bam... internal failure.. exchange new phone ktnxbye lol
