Hey Siri?

I have gone into my iPhone 6+: Settings/General/Siri/"Allow Hey Siri" in an attempt to get my "Hey Siri" working via voice request. Siri does work using the traditional "Home" button. Any ideas what else I should try?

I just got my answer, sorry I asked too soon. I guess it has to be plugged into the charger in order for the voice option to work!
