Hey, help needed badly!!

Posted a thread in the iphone hacking section, brand new to the forum, should have come here earlier because iv a serious waste of an iphone4 in my possession locked to a network in the uk and im in ireland, can seem to find anything to unlock ios 4.0.2 so hoping someone can help me here!!

what carrier is it locked to? cant you use it?

Its locked to the orange network in england and im in ireland!!

you do know that the uk sell them factory unlocked?

I would imagine that they do, i was onto apple and they told me that it was locked to the network, i rang orange but they told me because it wasnt my phone that they couldnt unlock it and the original owner is no where to be found now!!
