Help!!!

My Verizon iPhone 4 is stuck on the charge screen showing a red battery and lightning bolt. The phone won't turn on and iTunes doesn't
recognize my iphone. What could I do to fix this???

Are you using an OEM cable? Try a different cable.

Neither dfu or recovery would work. I'm using a usb cable

Then it's a hardware problem, not a software problem. If you're plugging in the iPhone for hours and it's not holding any charge, then it's a hardware problem. Either the battery or a connector problem.

Try using an OEM (apple brand) cable and plug it into a wall outlet.
