My Verizon iPhone 4 is stuck on the charge screen showing a red battery and lightning bolt. The phone won't turn on and iTunes doesn't
recognize my iphone. What could I do to fix this???

Then it's a hardware problem, not a software problem. If you're plugging in the iPhone for hours and it's not holding any charge, then it's a hardware problem. Either the battery or a connector problem.

My favorite saying.... "common things happen commonly"! People tend to look for the obscure reasons for issues, when there is often a simple solution. LOL! Glad it was simple for you!
