Help with : Accessing videos on iPhone 5 with new applications

I am new to the community and I need help with my iphone5... I have video files (4-6 files about 5:00 mins each) stored in my 'videos' application. Can I move those files to or gain access to them with another application ? Do I need to do that through iTunes on a PC or can I actually do that on my phone ?
I certainly appreciate any suggestions ... J18179
