Are you referring to the password that unlocks your iPhone? If so, and you can’t remember it, the only way to get your iPhone working again is to factory restore it through iTunes on your computer. There’s no way to back up the data on a locked iPhone. If you have Find my iPhone turned on on your iPhone, you’ll have to go to iCloud.com and sign into your account and turn off find my iPhone for your iPhone there, since you can’t access your iPhone to turn it off on the device itself.
