Help please

Hi there, I have a Iphone 4s IOS 5.1.1 with Jailbreak and was wondering to update to IOS 6.0.1. Can I just to that via Itunes (the update), or will I have problems because of the jailbreak? Can anyone help me please?

When restoring to a clean iOS, it's recommended that you do it in DFU mode. Some users don't have problems doing a regular restore by simply pressing the Restore button once, but DFU mode ensures a less eventful restore. And just a reminder, there is no jailbreak for iOS 6.0.1 as of yet, not until shortly after the GM release of iOS 6.1

First of all, thanks for the reply

I know that about the jailbreak, but I do not need IT anyway ...

My big concern is if I hit UPDATE, I will have no problems during the update. How do I put it in that DFU Mode, can you let me know, and if i do that, will have no problems with the upgrade?

If you're in DFU, simple restore it using iTunes. If you get an error, try creating a custom IPSW and use that to restore.
