Help please

This is for anyone in the UK but any help is better than none

We lost the wifes Iphone 4 reported it lost to THREE who blocked it. Insurance paid out bought new iphone. However the old phone been found and THREE have unblocked and said its unblocked/unlocked. I put the wifes new sim card in and it worked happy days.
My question is the IMEI number black listed. My undertsta ding is if it was the phone would not work. If it is how do I know and how do I get it removed.
Will the phone work with I tunes.
Can i jailbreak it/unlock it and use it with another network

Any help truly appreciated

well since you have fond the lost iphone and three have blocked it then it should work just fine in itunes to do as you wish with and have two iphones now

If your IMEI is blacklisted then you wouldn't be able to use your phone.

I don't understand how 3 unblocked your phone after you got a replacement. The networks, insurance company's and the police share the same database so people don't end up doing what you did. I'm not saying you deliberately defrauded the insurance company but legaly you need to tell them you found you old phone...
