Ever since Apple broke ground constructing its new campus, videos have been popping up around the web, showing aerial views of the location via drone. On Thursday, KQED News was able to get an exclusive tour of Campus 2, releasing photographs from the ground.

The news source reports that Apple's new campus is being built with an environmentally-conscious design. The plumbing within the campus will be using recycled water, while parts of the Campus 2 buildings are being made with recycled parts from older establishments.
“What Apple inherited on the property was several older buildings, all of which were broken down and deconstructed,” says KQED Science reporter Amy Standen, who got a tour of the site. “Much of the material from those old buildings was recycled into new building material to make the new campus, according to Apple.”
KQED claims the below photo to be Apple's new amphitheater. We expect this to be the building where Apple will be holding most, if not all, of its future press conferences for new products and devices.

Apple is expecting to finish construction by the end of 2016. The majority of the new campus will be covered in trees and other greenery. Other than that, the campus will include a main theater, fitness center and a garage for employees.
