Redmond Pie has posted a new update for those awaiting news of a jailbreak for iOS 4.1, and very encouraging it is too. The update is based around a tweet from Vincent, the administrator of The iPhone Wiki, which Redmond Pie says is a very solid source as regards iPhone hacks. Here's Vincent's tweet in full:
The jailbreak experts at Redmond Pie interpret this as an excellent indication that Chronic Dev-Team hackers won't wait for iOS 4.2 to be released to launch GreenPois0n, as some had speculated they might, and as far as those at the Pie are concerned, GreenPois0n's release is imminent, so all those anxiously awaiting news should wait for the real thing and, in the words of Redmond Pie, "stay away from fake tools and avoid asking devs for updates as you'll only slow down their progress."
"They won't wait for iOS 4.2 to release SHAtter. iOS 4.1 will be jailbroken soon."
As ever, as soon as we know anything, we'll let you know.
