Gps arrow staying on

It seems that since installing google maps my gps indicator is almost always on now. Anyone else experiencing this?

Actually now I think it might be twitter. It never did this before though.

The good news is you can turn off GPS access to a single app if you believe it is causing you an issue.

iOS 6
Settings -> Privacy -> Location Services.

iOS 5
Settings -> Location Services.

It was definitely twitter. I turned it off and have not seen the location indicator since. Thanks for the reply.
