To quote from the Dev team blog;

Directly after PwnageTool 4.1.3 is available, the official ultrasn0w repo ultrasn0w.com will be updated with ultrasn0w 1.2, which covers iPhone 4 baseband 01.59.00 and iPhone 3G/3GS basebands 04.26.08, 05.11.07, 05.12.01, 05.13.04 and now 06.15.00.

Only baseband 1.59.00 can be unlocked on iPhone 4. Now it's available on 4.2.1 aswell if you keep to this baseband...

Only baseband 1.59.00 can be unlocked on iPhone 4. Now it's available on 4.2.1 aswell if you keep to this baseband...

yes, 4.1 is Unlockable on a 3G and 3GS.

NEVER PAY FOR A JAILBREAK OR UNLOCK!!!!

These companys use the same FREE tools that everyone else uses. They wont be able to unlock any phone that the devs can't because they use the unlock tools the devs created and were kind enough to give us all for FREE...

You would probably go through the menus choosing which phone, firmware, baseband etc. Then you would be told it wouldn't work...
