Facetime activation

I have a consistent problem with Facetime on all my devices; MacBook Pro, iPhone 3G and iPod Touch. When I try to activate FaceTime I always get this same message: "Unable to verify "[email protected]" because it is already in use by another Apple ID". I have tried changing the email address associated with my Apple ID, have changed the password, have even reinstalled the OS on the MBP and restored the iPod. Nothing works.

Any assistance with this issue would be sincerely appreciated.

I've not had any issues. I'm not clear on the error message. Does it say the verification can not be done on your account because it is in use by another Apple id?

If so, I suggest contacting Apple customer service.
