Facebook Working on iPhone Photo App

TechCrunch reports today that it has discovered Facebook is working on an iPhone photo sharing app, after having 50 MB of related images and documents dumped in its lap. According to TechCrunch, the “amazing” app is being referred to internally by Facebook as either “Hovertown” or “WithPeople”. TechCrunch says that it is currently being treated as a standalone app, but it might also end up being integrated into Facebook’s main iPhone app and even the Facebook site. Of course there’s no iPad Facebook app for it to be integrated with, as Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg famously said the iPad is not a mobile device! TechCrunch likens the images it has seen from the app to “Path meets Instagram meets Color meets (Path’s new side project) With - with a few cool twists.” TechCrunch has already posted one of the leaked images of the app, and says that it will post lots more tomorrow.
