earphones of my iphone 4

am new here guys .. the same i do with my 1st apple product .. the iphone 4 .. i love the device but when i insert the jack of my earphones ... while am on a call .. like i did nothing. they dont work.. but they worked with me smtimes before ..

please help >>

Push them a soft harder inside, sometime, u think that you've plot it well inside where by they are halfway insert.

I don't think that there are software or settings that can be apply for the earphone, maybe in cydia? I'm not sure, you said that it was working fine before and then stop working so it sound like a spoiled earphone.
