Double text alert sounds

I upgraded to 4.3.1 a couple days ago and now when I get a text message, I get my standard alert sound followed by a second alert sound. So in essence, it makes it sound like I have received 2 text messages but I only received 1. Any idea how to fix that?

Nope, surprisingly I have no apps installed (except what comes with the OS)

In your messages settings, the default is Play Alert Tone - Twice...

Have you tried changing that to Once?

+1 they should change thst setting from default to once and that's it.
