Digital AV Adapter

I would appreciate any feedback on rather or not the "Lighting Digital AV Adapter" from Apple will allow you to project live streaming video like NFL Games from your iPhone 5s to your TV...Thanks.
Since Verzion is the only one that offers live streaming of NFL games to its smartphones I would like to make sure before I switch from AT&T that the iPhone 5s will support projecting anything from the device to the TV.

I have used a 30 pin/AV connection with my third generation iPod, live streaming to a 20 year old tv. It worked great. Believe it or not I just got my first flat screen with HDMI a few weeks ago and haven't tried it with a lightening/HDMI connector yet. That's what those products are made for so I can't imagine why it wouldn't work for you.
