Device Unknow

    Hey all , I just bought a new iphone 7 from a store in Angola and when trying to activate the phone i get Device Unknown error . "Please visit the Service Answer Centre ..." this is rly strange i dont know what to do ! please help



    also note that the phone is not recognized on itunes , i even tried it in restore mode to maybe restore it but still nothing.

    Are you in Angola? My first suggestion is to contact your carrier.

    I would first contact whoever you purchased it from. If they sold it to you under false pretenses, that is just not cool. It almost sounds that phone is Bricked!! Hopefully you get things resolved. But I would first get in touch with the seller if possible.

    Problem is that the seller thinks that am the one who messed with the phone ! so it seems this phone is useless right ?

    yeah in Angola , i never had such an error i tried different carrier same thing tho

    exactly a new device , i tried all mentioned in yr link b4 posting here actually , problem is that am stuck at activation and the phone is not recognized at all on my laptop (even tried another PC)

    Actually, your carrier is your cellular provider.

    Either they or Apple will have to help you with this.
