data usage

Is there any way to check on data usage during use of diffrent apps. Specificaly when I am using navigation apps to check on position and getting direcgtions. I do not have an unlimited data plan. 2 gig if I remember.

There's an app in the app store called 'Data Usage' that does exactly what your after. It costs £0.59, currently half price though.

lol just get mywireless from at&t on the app store, you can make payments, check minutes, DATA USAGE, and add on to your plane or take off things from it, and its free

 

[crowd pleaser]

you can reset your data usage in settings, bit crude but use it like the odometer milage counter in a car.

Seems more apps record your location in the background even while your not usung that particular app, I'd guess this impacts on your data usage.

You might have several navigation photo apps, only allow your favoured apps access to your location.
