Is it possible to close most, but not all data roaming products when abroad.
I know the easiest way would be to turn data roaming off, but there are a couple of things I would like to use my data for when abroad.
At home I use exchange for emails (which uses a lot of data) and I know that apps etc must use data as they know when an update is available.
At home I use approx 250MB of data a month, so a fortnights holiday would cost a fortune at that rate.
Can I turn off exchange and stop anything updating?
All I want to do is check a few emails (I can use a google account and get only the important ones to forward to this account) and access a couple of websites per day.
Any suggestions?
Ian
