Dark screen

Please help, I had to reset my phone and now the screen is darker than before, how do I correct it. Also is there anyway that I can retrieve the notes that I lost on reset

You can change the brightness or set auto brightness from the Display & Brightness Setting. If you did a reset of the Settings, your Notes shouldn’t have gone. Dependent on which Account they are linked to, you need to check they are switched on (under Accounts and Passwords in IOS 11).

Also, if you have a new iOS you can swipe up from the bottom and adjust the brightness there, easier to get to it that way.

If you see notes in the account you use is already on, toggle it off, choose "Delete from my iPhone", then toggle back on.
