One thing that simply bothers me about some Android devices is the use of capacitive Home, Back, and Menu buttons. Maybe it's just me, but I find them annoying and easy to accidentally press while using apps and playing games.

This is what worries me about a new report from Cowen and Company analysts. The financial services firm (via Business Insider) cites "field checks" suggesting that Apple may be switching to a Home button which would sit flush with the rest of the iPhone 7.

The alleged Home button would use capacitive touch, with haptic feedback to mimic a button press. The firm also adds that the device will lack a headphone jack and will be waterproof.

This isn't the first time we've heard this rumor, with DigiTimes reporting back in April. With the problems I stated above, I for one, hope it isn't true.
