Connection with PC

Hallo,
I have a problem with connection with my iPhone and PC. When I plug iPhone to MacBook by USB,it doesn't work. I don't see it in Mac. And also can't find setting for that. So does somebody know what to do?

Make sure you are using the original usb cable that came with the iPhone and that you are running the newest iTunes also try a diferent usb port and another computer to see if the iPhone or the compurer.

I have original USB. My iPhone and Mac is new so it should works.

Finally it works. So maybe my Mac was just lazy lol
Anyway, I just sync some music and I can't make a song like a ringtone. How I can do it?
