Complete backup

Hello,
Is it possible for me to copy the entire contents of my phone (music/contacts/apps) to my pc? How? Would I also be able to move these contents to a brand new phone if I were to get one)?

Yes. You can back up to iTunes. You would need to download the latest edition of Apple iTunes to your PC to do so. You can also back up to iCloud. Either way, you can download the backup to a new iPhone.

With an iTunes backup the data is stored on the computer and setting up the new iPhone from the backup is much faster. The one exception is apps, which are downloaded from the cloud when restoring from an iTunes backup.

Probably too late, but you can choose to do an encrypted backup - DON'T FORGET YOUR PASSWORD - and it will back up passwords and extras that a non-encrypted backup won't.

Encrypted backups also store health data and the Apple Watch activity data.
