Chrimson Phone Case

I bought a "Crimson" Aluminum case for my iPhone several months ago. This "case" is not really a case, but 4 aluminum strips held together at the corners making more of a frame that anything else. At the time I had a poor signal in my house and thought having the frame on might make it worse. Since then I have bought a Micro-Cell for home use. I still am wondering if having the Aluminum frame on the phone would inhibit the cell signal at all?

Does anyone have a idea if an Alum case will block a cell signal?

a while ago there where reports that certain aluminium bumpers were inhibiting the signal,the only way to find out is take note of how many bars you have with it and then without it.
