Can't send or receive photos

I can attach photos to emails but cant send or receive directly from or to another mobile. I have tried several times and the "sending" indicator stops right at the end and never finishes. Can anyone help?

You can't send photos through SMS with difault SMS app you have on your phone. Only if you send them to the people which also have iPhone and iMessage turned on. For the rest, install (if you are JB) biteSMS from Cydia or WhatsApp from Apps store. Your friends have to have these apps also.

Yes you can. You need the MMS feature turned on in settings and then have at it. No need for iMessage or another 3rd party app. I do it between my iPhone and my wife's droid all the time without any issues.
