Can you charge the ip4s with a universal ip4 case

when i picked up my ip4s i told the radio shack guy the case i was going to use and he said apple told them that any case for the ip4 will not work on ip4s nor will it power or charge it correctly. im wanting to get the powermat wireless charging stand for my ip4s but after hearing that i was wanting to know if anyone on here is using the powermat with there ip4s. also i think what the guy said was a crock of sh*t but idk so im come to you.

ps i came from android just so i can have my battery life back lol i missed my iphone battery life.

just to let everyone know i tweeted powermat and they said there current line works with iphone 4s. i bought my powermat kit yesterday and i can say it does work but the only problem is the down volume button is very hard to press because its right next to the case. other than that i love it. i will be posting a video of it today.
