Can phone location data be found in iOS 6.1 backups? if not, where is the data?

Locations aren't stored on the device unless you're using an app that specifically keeps track of your location and archives it physically on the device like the Mophie Outdoors App.

Was the saving of the phones location in consolidated.db stopped when Going from its 5 to 6?
