Can I upgrade if my Verizon iPhone breaks???

I'm on Verizon. I have an iPhone 4. I have a 2 year contract. I have full coverage insurance.

If a newer version of the iPhone is out and my iPhone 4 breaks, can I upgrade to the newer version? Or will they try and stick me with another new or refurbished iPhone 4?

It's actually in the writing of the insurance that what you are describing would be fraud. Its actually people like you that keep premiums and replacement costs high.
