Can anybody answer this please

Wife and my Iphone 4 today both got a message on the screen saying there is an update for your phone. Then had update now or later, we both hit now. But look like nothing happened. Did anybody else get this on their phones and if so what was it for.

Unless you knew what to look at you wouldn't be able to see it. All it was is an update for roaming and a network update.

Will this do any harm to a 4.2.6 jailbreak? I'm getting tired of declining.

i highly doubt it'll do anything to jailbreak it usually just has something to do with roaming capabilities

Carrier settings updates do not affect the phone's firmware whatsoever. It only affects the modem firmware so no, it will not do anything to your jailbreak.

Sweet I was wondering about that to and definitely saying no to update, glad I can update now. Any easy way to go back to 4.2.6 or 8 if it's on 4.2.10???? How do I get the shsh thing? And anyone tell the difference between Verizon iPhone and AT&T? I had AT&T before and a lot of stuff was way better. Thoughts?
