Can an AT&T iPhone 4 be switched over to work on Verizon?

Hello,

I just acquired an AT&T iPhone 4 (Model A1332) and I want to know if it can be switched over to work on my current carrier, Verizon. I've done a ton of research and I think the answer is no because of the whole AT&T having GSM and Verizon having CDMA thing. However, I'm not positive. So I really just want a straight forward answer as to whether it can be switched over or not.

Verizon CDMA (oil). AT&T GSM (water).
