Camera on iPhone 4 keeps freezing

Hi - I'm a newbie to the forum so I hope this isn't a common problem as I did search through ...

I keep having problems with my camera on my iPhone 4. It froze and so I restored my phone from backup to get it working again.

I have since added a heap of videos, contacts and other things since my last backup and it has frozen again but I don't want to restore it and lose my new things.

I was trying to change the camera so it was facing front on and it froze and now won't open at all.

Can anyone give me any advise on this please

Then you have no other choices to restore again. There have to be an app or something in your device corrupting the camera files. Maybe a 3rd party camera app which your installed???
