What is a good to know what time buses are leaving or near you or arriving ?

I used hop stop when I was in Chicago for business, seemed very accurate for the few days I used it. They've got other some other cities as well, may he worth looking into.

There is one that works for all bus I had it on my 4 and 4s but I can't remember since I can't sync my 5s to my lab top

I couldn't find anything like City Ride. Most bus apps are City specific. But Yelp (free) and Nearby-Local Amenities and Petrol ($2.99) may give you what you need.
