I broke my Verizon iPhone where would be the best place to buy a screen. Apple wants 300 or so to replace my screen any ideas? Thanks dan

Yea the sad part is I let my buddy use my phone and he dropped it down a flight of stairs. I've looked on craigslist but everything is either jailbroken or more than retail

I dont know if this would help but the prices seem reasonable to me.http://http://www.xpressfix.com/iphone-4-glass-lcd-repair

Next time be more careful with your phone. You should really invest in a case like the otter box defender or the life proof case. This will save you from the trouble.

Or even an otterbox commuter. I had one of those on my phone a while back and the case saved my phone from a 8 ft drop. I had it sitting on top of my pick-up and it slid off. Needless to say I don't sit my phone there anymore. Lol

Can't tell any stories like that but I had the commuter on my blackberry and I hated it. I like the design of the OT.D

I have an otterbox defender and dropped my iPhone from the coach to the wood floor (approx 2 ft high). The screen cracked!!! I can't believe it..... I thought those cases were a lot better!

I would look on ebay if you are just looking for a screen replacement. Problem is the LCD and the Digitizer(screen) is fused together. When we repair iPhone 4s we usually have to replace the screen and the LCD even if the screen is the only issue.

We have done some parts buying through Amazon before, I would just be sure to purchase within the USA. Though most parts if not all parts are made in China anyways dealing with a seller in the USA is way easier.

Hey everyone, Just fitted new screen on Iphone 4 ;).
Everything works fine, but for a small 8mm long rubber piece that fell off as i was refitting the motherboard. Not sure if it came off the Motherboard, or the bit the MB fits into at the top of the phone.
Anyway it seems to work OK without it, but would really like to know.

There are some pics on Flickr under "Beatzlover".

Thanks for any tips

That ribber bumper that fell of is needed for the phone m8...

Sent from The Droid... The one you were looking for...
