I was wondering if there is a way to turn on/off Bluetooth in a quicker manner than going through Settings/General/Bluetooth? I only use the Bluetooth function to pair with my car radio to play music and would like to access it quicker? I was thinking like a quick launch icon (please forgive if I didn't use the right term there)?

Only if you are jailbroken.
If you are jailbroken, then you can install NCSettings, or IntelliScreenX.
Those tweaks put system toggles in notification center, like wifi, bluetooth, brightness, cellular data, airplane mode, Autolock, private browsing.
Just pull down notification center, tap a toggle.
ISX allows you to pull down notification center on the lock screen.

If you have an iPhone 4S, then it is best that you restore and setup as new device (not from a backup) then jailbreak with redsn0w.
After jailbreaking, you can then restore your backup in iTunes if you wish. Tho it is usually better to just start from scratch.
If you have very little media on your device, like only a few apps, and no music or videos, then you don't necessarily have to restore before jailbreaking...but is alway best to restore before jailbreaking anyway.
