Bluetooth for Music in the Car.....?

Hey,

I'm having trouble with my iPhone 5 (iOS 6.01) using bluetooth to play music in my car (2005 Lexus RX 330). The phone works just fine as a phone with the bluetooth, but not getting anything when I try to play music (iTunes or music apps).

Any idea on how to fix this??

No sure how the Lexus audio system works.... in my '11 Mariner the Microsoft Sync system gives me a 10 digit code to enter on my Bluetooth activation screen to "connect" my iDevice to the stereo.

Are you sure your car can support playing music through Bluetooth? Many recent model cars require a aux cable. Look up your car model and see what is supported or call your local dealership and see what they say.
