According to Bloomberg’s sources, Apple is reportedly working on new iPhone designs that include bigger screens with curved glass and enhanced sensors. A person familiar with the matter has told Bloomberg that the new iPhone models will have 4.7 and 5.5 inches and will incorporate glass that curves at the edge.

Apple is said to also be experimenting with touchscreens that can detect different levels of pressure, and per Bloomberg's source, we will see this technology only in the third quarter of next year, when the next iPhone is presumably going to be launched.

Dennis Chan, analyst at Yuanta Financial Holding said that an increase in iPhone’s screen size will help Apple in its fight against Google’s Android operating system

Screen size is one of the things where Apple has to catch up to the Android camp. Innovation in components has been a key for Apple since the first iPhone came out.

Recently, even Steve Wozniak said that he wants the next iPhone to have a bigger screen display. What about you?
