Among Apple's very popular iMessage service, most may remember the famous BlackBerry messenger. The message client was very popular amongst business and consumer-based users back in the day and still is in the present. Unfortunately, the majority of folks have switched to iMessage or similar services.

Those still interested in BlackBerry Messenger will be excited to find out that BlackBerry will be rolling out the BBM app today. The BBM app will be supported on the iOS App Store, Google Play, and Samsung's App Store sometime within the next few hours.

The app was initially supposed to be rolled out earlier until a leaked build made its way to one million Android devices, causing BlackBerry's servers to crash. While the app will be available to download soon, those who haven't signed up for the early invite will have to wait in line, similar to the ever-so-popular Mailbox app.

So far, BlackBerry has reported over 7 million sign ups for early access to BlackBerry Messenger. While it's unknown how quickly the queue will go, the company has promised to email users for when they are able to start using BBM on iOS and Android.

When you download BBM, this is what you see, a screen where you enter your email address to join the queue to start using BlackBerry Messenger.
