I've always used safari. I've never had a problem with it so haven't tried any of the alternatives...
Mercury or 360 browser. Both of them have the ability to download files, to open pages like on chrome, internet explorer, mozilla and many other features. I like mercury the most anyway because it load pages much more faster.

Dude. I tried Skyfire, because it has flash. I also had Safari with flash. When Flash was recently updated to a newer version by Adobe, flash movies in both Skyfire and Safari didn't work. Gave error something _food().
So I'd stick with Safari.
All you gotta do with get these addons.
Fullscreen for safari (or fullscreen for ipad)
Download manager for safari
Frash

try Perfect Browser. Loads incredibly fast and has all the tools you could want. It's among the highest rated in the app store. I REALLY like it's flexibility and available tools.
We more friendly than Safari. Oh, and you can also make it display like Firefox, safari, IE etc. etc. Pretty cool.

Perfect Browser. That's all i use. i have tried a few others but ended up deleting them and always coming back to Perfect Browser

I think im gonna try this Perfect Browser.
Since people are raving about it better than Safari.
Try it and report back. I'm wondering if there's anything better than Safari out there.

I believe that you've use safari browser on your device. You know how it works compare to the other alternative browser which all display like a desktop browser making them run slower and most of the time full of bugs crash upon the opening of certains websites etc... I jailbreak my device and i've added the missing features in safari such as internet download manager, privacy browsing, full screen browsing, multigestures touch to quick open new tab- naviga between tabs- etc... And what's amazing with safari is that it never ever crash, and load website very fast either on wifi or on 3g as i'm also having 3g unrestrictor install on my device. Ehance tab made it easy to manage tabs within safary. Safari take full advantages of the retina display compare to other browser which are strill trying to catchup. The only one thing i can say that i'm missing is flash player, and most of the website i'm visiting and which use flash are having video conversion for iphone so that i can even play the videos off those websites right from my safari. Over all i love the speed of safari compare to other browser.
