Best Buy’s Buy One iPhone 4, Get One Free Deal Returns This Weekend

MacRumors reports today that Best Buy is repeating its Christmas Eve Buy One, Get One Free iPhone 4 offer for this coming New Year’s weekend. The offer applies only to the 32GB iPhone 4, which costs $199 on a two-year contract, with both phones having to be on a two-year contract, even though you only pay for one of the phones. The deal applies to in-store purchases only, and runs from 10:00 a.m. today, Friday, and all-day Saturday until 7:00 p.m. As MacRumors notes, officially, the 32GB iPhone 4 is not even available in stores anymore, with Apple now only selling the 8GB iPhone 4. Clearly though, Best Buy still has a ton of stock left and has decided this is a good way to move a whole load of them. What a great way of giving someone an iPhone 4 as a present! You don’t even need to tell them you got it for free, then they’ll think you’re really amazing!

But if you have to get one and a 2 year contract and the others on a 2 year contract also. You won't be giving it for free will you, because they'll still have to pay the monthly fee? Or do you pay the monthly fee on yours? If you do what If they go over the allowances? Who pays then? You? You'd be giving the phone with a big TRUST involved. Or does the other person jailbreak it and go on their own? *confused* so won't be getting 1-2 (laughs out loud)
