battery's draining much faster

sinc I updated to ios9 no change in usage. I haven't done anything different. I hope it settles out

Could it be that, even though you haven't changed your habits, you are using the phone a bit more often? The screen is the biggest battery drain.

Well, it's possible that there are things going on in the background (indexing) that are using extra system resources. I would just recommend giving it time and seeing if it settles down. This type of thing always seems to happen to me when upgrading, but it settles down after a bit.
