battery's draining much faster

    sinc I updated to ios9 no change in usage. I haven't done anything different. I hope it settles out

    Did you do a hard reset? That can sometimes help.

    No issues here. Actually, battery life has increased.

    I also see stand by on battery is blank

    Could it be that, even though you haven't changed your habits, you are using the phone a bit more often? The screen is the biggest battery drain.

    Well, it's possible that there are things going on in the background (indexing) that are using extra system resources. I would just recommend giving it time and seeing if it settles down. This type of thing always seems to happen to me when upgrading, but it settles down after a bit.

    I'd be willing to bet it was the indexing.

    Siri/Spotlight preparing data to be searchable. This is one of the first things the system does after installing or upgrading the OS.
