Back Light won't turn off during call

Hi. I searched this and didn't find anything so posting a thread.

Iphone 4. Back light will not turn off during call. Usually it will auto shut off when up to your ear, and if you bring phone down it will turn back on.

Mine is alwyas staying on, any easy fixes or solutions?

If you have a case on your phone, it may be partially blocking the sensor on the front. Try removing it and see what happens. If that doesn't work or you don't have a case try a hard reset.
