B& w photos go to colour when copying

Hi all, when I copy photos from my iPhone to my laptop, they all revert back to colour!

I had deleted a lot of .aae files. Would this cause all black & white photos to go back to colour?

You cannot upload edited photos straight to a Windows machine. They will transfer as the originals. There are ways round this, such as emailing the photos to yourself.
