Awful 3G coverage

Aside from a *228 update and hard reset anything else to improve coverage? It's awful at my home! My Internet is down so I'm relying on my 3G coverage but its awful!!

It depends on the geography. If you're in the city full of skyscrapers and tall office buildings, you might experience some sketchy 3G coverage. At work, when I stand in the middle our floor, I get next to zero reception or data coverage. When I walk about 5 feet away from the exact center of our floor, I get 2.5/3 bars. Try toggling the data toggles around and see if that fixes it. A few months ago I had zero 3G for a few weeks out of the blue at home, then it came back.
