at&t work on a sprint iphone 4gs?

hello all im new to this forum but i have a very important question. maybe not important to you but important to me lol.. so i have at&t and im not due for an upgrade till march but my grandmother who has sprint is due for an upgrade now.. so if i were to have her upgrade and get the iphone and she gives it to me will it work right from the start with at&t service? thanks in advance for all your answers!

Actually, no. Sprint announced they will lock the SIM slot on the iPhone 4S to them. You should do some serious research on this subject before going that route.
